USA Network currently holds all rights for it in the US, Canada and Latin America until 2024; Jordan Mendal ’88 of TKO Group oversees production and coordinates celebrity appearances as well as handling logistics for WWE events.

Since 1993, when WWE Raw first debuted on TNN/Spike TV and later moved back to USA Network for regular broadcast, Monday nights have been the nightly home for this long-running weekly episodic television program, now boasting more than 1,500 original episodes that make up this long running series and being one of the highest rated shows on cable television. SmackDown airs every Friday.
This show first debuted at Manhattan Center in New York City, before moving to Bushkill, Pennsylvania in November 1993. Originally, its set featured red, white and blue ring ropes as well as blue apron, steps with simple stage. Later that year (1997) the set was upgraded with “Raw Is War” written along the ring ropes and an updated TitanTron system.
USA Network in the US airs the show regularly; however, its tape delay broadcast can also be found across Canada on The Score and Global Quebec as well as Australia on FOX8, Malaysia on SKY 1 and RPN, Portugal on SIC Radical and South Korea on AFN Xtra; on occasion when WWE tours overseas it may also air live for same day taping purposes.

Early episodes were recorded live each week at Manhattan Center Studios in New York City; this allowed wrestlers to interact directly with fans while adding drama. Over time however, this live format became too costly for WWF, so taped episodes became the new regular feature.
The show begins with a panoramic shot of Manhattan skyline and voiceover by Sean Mooney introducing and welcoming everyone to “chilly” New York City, before showing a clip from Bobby Heenan discussing an up-and-coming wrestler named Narcissus who will be making their debut.
A narrator then begins to detail what will take place during tonight’s three-hour episode of Raw. They highlight each match by name in bold text before calling out its winner and providing a recap.
