The New England Patriots play the Detroit Lions in Munich, Germany on Sunday November 15, 2026. It is the NFL’s 2026 game at Allianz Arena, the home of FC Bayern Munich, and the Patriots’ second regular-season game in Germany after they played the Indianapolis Colts in Frankfurt in 2023. Here is what to know about the date, kickoff, and tickets, plus the Patriots home games left at Gillette Stadium this season.
Patriots vs. Lions in Munich: date and kickoff
Kickoff is 3:30 PM in Munich, which is 9:30 AM Eastern and 7:30 AM Mountain, and the game is on FOX in the US. The Lions are the designated home team, so the listing names them first. It is Week 10 of the season, and the Patriots have their bye the following week.
About Allianz Arena
Allianz Arena is in the Fröttmaning district on the northern edge of Munich, and the NFL calls it FC Bayern Munich Stadium for this game. This is its third NFL game, after Seattle vs. Tampa Bay in 2022 and the Giants vs. Carolina in 2024. The U6 subway line runs from central Munich to the Fröttmaning station, and from there it is a walk of about 15 minutes to the stadium. Plan to arrive early, because the crowd for an NFL game is far bigger than the station sees on a normal day.
Buying tickets for the Munich game
Seats close to the field between the 20-yard lines cost the most, and the upper tier is usually the lowest price. If you are traveling from the US, check that the listing says Allianz Arena and November 15, 2026, and look at the delivery timing on the listing before you book flights and hotels. Demand for the NFL’s games in Europe is high, so prices can rise as the game gets closer.
Patriots home games left at Gillette Stadium
If Munich is too far, seven home games are left in Foxborough this season.
