John Mulaney is ending his current tour with something unusual: nine stand-up shows in nine New York venues over nine nights, January 7–15, 2027. Mulaney Takes Manhattan starts in comedy clubs and small music rooms and finishes at Madison Square Garden. Before that, the fall leg keeps going through theaters, arenas and casino showrooms into December, with two shows in Hawaii.

Which New York night should you pick?
The small rooms (Comedy Cellar, Blue Note, Joe’s Pub, Bowery Ballroom) hold a few hundred people or fewer, so they are the hardest tickets to find and usually the most expensive. Beacon Theatre and Carnegie Hall are classic seated theaters where nearly every seat feels close. Radio City is bigger but still a theater, and Mulaney has filmed a special there before. Madison Square Garden is the finale and has the most seats, so it is usually the easiest night to get into.
Where to sit
At Beacon, Carnegie Hall and Radio City, the orchestra is closest, and the front of the first balcony or mezzanine gives a clear straight-on view. At the Garden, lower-bowl sections on the sides near the stage end are often a better stand-up view than the back of the floor. Club rooms have their own layouts, so read the notes on each listing.
