The 2027 weekly schedule
Through mid-January, evenings stay mostly at 8:00 PM from Monday to Saturday, with Saturday matinees and some Wednesday matinees. From the week of Tuesday January 26 the listed schedule shifts to:
- Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM
- Saturday: 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 3:00 PM (1:00 PM on February 14)
Mondays drop off the board from late January. The earlier weekday curtains suit a pre-theater dinner in Midtown; the Wednesday and Saturday matinees are the choice if you are traveling in for the day.

Choosing a performance and seats
St. James Theatre is a classic Broadway house on West 44th Street. Center orchestra is closest to the faces; the front mezzanine often gives the better view of the whole stage. Holiday-week shows and Saturday evenings usually draw the most demand, while Tuesday and Thursday evenings in February and March are often the better value. See also St. James Theatre tickets and New York tickets.
This is a Broadway musical about Dolly Parton’s life using her songs. It is not a Dolly Parton concert, and symphony “Threads” nights or tribute revues in other cities are different events.
