Other Desert Cities, the first Broadway revival of Jon Robin Baitz’s play, has 104 performances on the BuyTickets.com board at the Hudson Theatre, from Tuesday October 20, 2026 through its closing matinee on Sunday January 17, 2027. Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ed Harris, Allison Janney, Joe Keery and Lily Rabe star, and the run is a limited engagement, so the holiday weeks and the final January performances are the dates people search for. This guide is the calendar: which days have matinees, what happens around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s, and how the run ends. Every date links to its own listing, and the full board is on our Other Desert Cities tickets page.

Closing weeks of a limited run with a star cast usually sell first and cost the most, along with Saturday evenings and the holiday weeks. Tuesday to Thursday evenings and Wednesday matinees in late October and November are often the value.
Cast, running time and seats
Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays Polly, Ed Harris plays Lyman, Allison Janney plays Silda, Joe Keery plays Trip and Lily Rabe plays Brooke, directed by John Benjamin Hickey. Understudies can go on at any performance. The play runs about 2 hours and 15 minutes with one intermission. It is a play, not a musical.
The Hudson Theatre, at 141 West 44th Street, opened in 1903 and has just under 1,000 seats on three levels. Center orchestra and the front of the mezzanine are closest to the faces in a one-room family drama; the balcony is steeper and usually the lowest price. Our ticket feed lists the theater as Millennium Hudson Theatre, which is the same building. See also Hudson Theatre tickets and New York tickets.
