Matt Rife Stay Golden Tour 2026–27: Dates, Phone-Free Rules and the Fort Worth Taping

Matt Rife is in the middle of his Stay Golden World Tour, and the U.S. arena leg runs through Sunday, January 10, 2027. Before you buy, it helps to know three things the ticket page will not tell you at a glance: many stops lock your phone away for the whole show, many venues treat it as an adults-only night, and one Fort Worth date is being filmed for his next special. This guide covers the remaining dates and what each of those rules means on the night.

Each show is a separate ticket. The full list, with seat maps and all-in prices, is on our Matt Rife tickets page.

Phone-free means no phone at all

A lot of comedy tours now run phone-free, and this one does at several stops. At Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, for example, the venue says phones, smartwatches, smart accessories and cameras are all sealed in Yondr pouches when you arrive. You keep the pouch, but it stays locked until you leave or step into a designated phone-use area, and anyone seen using a phone during the show is walked out.

  • Load your tickets before you get in line. Have your mobile tickets ready, because your phone gets locked right after you scan in.
  • Bring a card. You cannot tap to pay with a locked phone or watch, so carry a physical credit or debit card for drinks and merch.
  • Plan your ride home ahead of time. Agree on a meeting spot with your group, since you cannot text each other during the show.
  • Arrive early. Pouching adds a step at the door, so give yourself extra time to get through security.

The point of the rule is the crowd work. Rife builds part of every show out of conversations with people in the seats, and phone-free rooms keep those moments from ending up online the next morning.

Age limits: check before you buy for a teenager

Rife’s material is for adults, and many venues on this tour list the show as 18+ or mature audiences only. Dickies Arena lists its two December shows as 18+. Age rules are set venue by venue, so if anyone in your group is under 18, check the venue’s own event page for your date before buying. A resale ticket does not change a venue’s age policy.

The Fort Worth show is being taped

Dickies Arena says the Saturday, December 19 show was moved from December 12 because it is being taped for Rife’s next comedy special. If you want to be in the room for a taping, that is the night. A few things change on a filming night:

  • The show starts at 8 PM sharp, and late arrivals will not be let into the showroom during filming.
  • Producers may ask ticket holders to move seats on the night.
  • Cameras will be pointed at the crowd, and crowd work is a big part of his specials.

If you would rather watch without cameras, the Friday, December 18 show at the same arena is a regular show.

Which seats work best for arena comedy

Most stops on this leg are arenas, which is a big room for stand-up. Seeing his face and hearing the room matter more than being on the floor, so lower-bowl seats on the sides close to the stage are often better than the back of a flat floor. In the upper level, center sections give a straight view of the video screens. Crowd work tends to focus on people he can see from the stage, so the front sections and the floor are closest to it if you want to be part of the show.

Pricing and buying with BuyTickets.com

Weekend nights, holiday-week shows and the Fort Worth taping usually cost more, and weeknight arena dates are often the better value. BuyTickets.com is an independent resale marketplace, not the tour or the venues. We show the all-in price before you pay, and every order is covered by our 100% ticket guarantee. The delivery method and timing are shown on each listing. Call 855-855-6777 if you want to talk to a person.
