Turnpike Troubadours at Red Rocks 2027: Dates, Openers and the Rodeo Shows

Turnpike Troubadours just put two more Red Rocks nights on sale, for Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14, 2027. Between now and then the Oklahoma band has only a handful of U.S. dates, and half of them are not regular concerts: two are rodeo tickets and one is a small club show in Las Vegas. This guide lists every date on sale, who is opening, and what each kind of ticket gets you.

Turnpike Troubadours 2026–27 dates at a glance

Each show is a separate ticket. The full list, with seat maps and all-in prices, is on our Turnpike Troubadours tickets page.

Red Rocks, May 13 and 14, 2027

The band announced the two nights on October 19, 2026, and general on-sale opened on Friday, October 23. Both shows start at 7 PM, doors open at 5:30 PM, and Amble and Wade Forster open both nights. Red Rocks matters to this band: they picked it for their comeback show in May 2022 after a three-year break, and played two more nights there in May 2025.

  • Pick your night. Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14 are separate tickets.
  • Know the seating. Red Rocks rows are long benches built into the hillside. Some shows are general admission across the whole venue and others have reserved rows, so check the listing for your night.
  • Plan for the weather. Mid-May evenings in the foothills can be cold, and shows go on in rain. Bring layers.
  • Allow time for the climb. The walk up from the lots and the stairs to the top rows are steep, so give yourself extra time before the opener.

Rodeo nights: Phoenix and San Antonio

Two dates on this run are rodeo tickets with a concert after the rodeo, not Turnpike headline shows.

If you only care about the band, a seat on the side of the arena works for both the rodeo and the stage. Rodeo nights usually cost less than the Red Rocks shows for a full evening.

A club night in Las Vegas

On Friday, December 11 at 9 PM, the band plays Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on the LINQ Promenade, with Red Shahan opening. It is a much smaller room than anywhere else on this run, which makes it the closest look at the band you can buy before Red Rocks.

What to expect from the show

Turnpike Troubadours are a six-piece: Evan Felker on vocals and guitar, Kyle Nix on fiddle, Ryan Engleman on electric guitar, RC Edwards on bass, Gabe Pearson on drums and Hank Early on steel and accordion. Their newest album is The Price of Admission from April 2025, and in June 2026 they released a version of Robert Earl Keen’s “Feelin’ Good Again” with Sierra Hull. Crowds sing the older songs, like “Diamonds & Gasoline,” “Long Hot Summer Day” and “Every Girl,” as loudly as the band plays them.
