Mac Miller Dead at 26 of Apparent Overdose: Report

Mac Miller Expired on Friday of a suspected Illness, Based on TMZ. He was 26.

Miller was found in his house in San Fernando Valley, California, about noon on Friday and has been pronounced dead at the scene, the outlet reported.

The Los Angeles Corner’s Office plus a rep for Miller did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Months earlier, on May 14 Miller has been detained for drunk driving.

Early that afternoon, the rapper was arrested for DUI and hit and run afterwards that he struck a power pole at the San Fernando Valley with his Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon and fled the scene; even after law enforcement officers matched with the automobile ’s license plates into Miller’s address, they detained him in his residence, also a Los Angeles Police Department public information officer formerly told PEOPLE.

The rapper’s newest album, Swimming, was released on Aug. 3.

The rapper went on to start up on his arrest, which occurred a week after news broke that Miller and longtime girlfriend Ariana Grande had split, during a dialogue with Zane Lowe about Beats 1 on Apple Music at July.

I made a stupid mistake. I’m a human being,” Miller explained. “But it had been. Occurred. I needed that. Actually have the whole thing quit and I needed to run inside that pole that was light. ”

However, Miller proceeded to let all his supporters know that they shouldn’t worry about him, because he’therefore doing fine.

“I have people that care for me and fans that love my songs and it’s beautiful connection together — people who have been with me by being a 19-year-old wide-eyed child for being a self-evident drug person to creating love audio to each of these different stages. Then they see something like they fear and this,” he explained. “So that your response is, ‘Let me tell them I’m trendy. ’”
