ACL Fest 2026 is over. Austin City Limits Music Festival ran at Zilker Park on October 2–4 and 9–11, 2026 (per aclfestival.com). This page now tracks ACL Fest 2027: what’s confirmed, what isn’t, and how tickets usually work.

When is ACL Fest 2027?
The 2027 dates have not been announced yet. What is known: C3 Presents’ agreement with the City of Austin keeps the festival at Zilker Park through 2040, with dates expected “on or about the first two weekends of October” (CultureMap Austin). Since 2013 ACL has used a two-weekend format with a largely similar lineup each weekend. We’ll update this page when the festival publishes dates — don’t book nonrefundable travel on projected dates.
When do ACL 2027 tickets go on sale?
Not announced. ACL typically opens early-bird passes before the lineup and announces the lineup in spring (the 2026 lineup came out May 5). Sign up on the official site for the first on-sale; once passes exist, resale listings appear on the ACL Fest tickets page.
ACL bag policy and what to bring
Bag policy as published for 2026 (official ACL FAQ — confirm the 2027 version before you go):
– Clutch / fanny pack 6″ × 9″ or smaller: does not need to be clear; one pocket max.
– Larger bags: must be clear and smaller than 12″ × 6″ × 12″.
– Small empty hydration packs are allowed and do not need to be clear (up to two extra pockets plus the reservoir pocket).
– Every bag is searched. Leaving the bag at home is the fastest entry.
Allowed / banned (high-signal items from the official list): empty reusable bottles and hydration packs; chairs without shade structures; small sunscreen. Not allowed: umbrellas, tents/canopies, inflatables, glass, drones, selfie sticks, professional camera rigs, outside food and drinks, pets (service animals excepted). Zilker Park is smoke-free.
Re-entry: After first entry, you may leave and return two additional times the same day. Scan the wristband on the way out and go through security again.
Cashless: Official FAQ states the festival is cashless. Bring a card or mobile wallet. Free water stations are part of the official GA description — fill the empty bottle after you clear the gate.

Getting to Zilker Park
In 2026 there was no festival parking at Zilker Park or in surrounding neighborhoods; CapMetro, rideshare, shuttles, walking and biking were the official options. Check capmetro.org and the ACL FAQ for 2027 service.
