Officials from Cleveland and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced Thursday an exciting event: Billy Joel and Rod Stewart will perform at Cleveland Browns Stadium on September 13th! These legendary artists have already performed in our region – Joel at Progressive Field last year and Stewart playing Blossom last summer – so the news conference held by Mayor Justin Bibb, partner Whitney Haslam Johnson of Haslam Sports Group, Destination Cleveland CEO David Gilbert and Live Nation Senior Vice President Marketing and Sponsorship Sales Barry Gabel provided more details of this concert event.

2024 saw the Outlaw Music Festival bring big names and big shows to cities all over the United States. Are you a fan of Mike Tyson or Jake Paul? Later this summer, fans will get the opportunity to see them fight each other in the boxing ring at AT&T Stadium – home of Dallas Cowboys – on July 20. Netflix will livestream the event, marking its first foray into live combat sports events.

According to a news release from Most Valuable Promotions co-founded by Paul, this fight will be produced. At 27 years old and with nine wins out of 11 including six knockouts he most recently defeated Ryan Bourland by first round TKO March 2. Paul boasts an imposing 76″ reach that places him among modern boxing’s highest reaching heavyweights.

Tyson has not competed since an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. ended in a split draw in November 2020, yet remains one of the most recognized figures in boxing history. Hailing from Ohio himself and currently living in Westlake suburb of Cleveland.

Paul and Tyson’s bout is certain to generate plenty of excitement, yet some may consider its hype to be excessive. Paul is currently ranked as a contender in the lightweight division and has received multiple honors and awards for his fighting style and professional growth as a boxer, including ESPNRingside’s 2021 Knockout of the Year honor.

Tyson may find it challenging to win this fight given his age of 58 and steadily approaching social security eligibility compared to Paul’s 27 years and three decades younger age. Without miraculous improvement in conditioning it would be hard for Tyson to come out victorious from this fight.

There are serious safety concerns over this fight. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, responsible for overseeing combat sports in Texas, has yet to make an announcement as to its plans for this match-up; additionally, MMA’s state governing body Professional Fighters Association is yet to decide if this match-up should go forward.

Even amid controversy surrounding this fight, ticket sales should go well. Tickets are already on sale with prices beginning at $50 for general admission and up to $1,500 for ringside seats. Early this week, heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora made claims about their bout which caused considerable outrage and controversy. But Nakisa Bidarian of Most Valuable Promotions swiftly refuted these statements as misplaced. Bidarian has confirmed that all safety measures will be in place and fighters will not need to wear headgear. Randy Feltface, better known by his nickname of just Randy, has made quite an impression in comedy circles around the world. His fame can be found at Edinburgh Fringe Festival where his performances sold out; audiences worldwide also love watching his shows as part of Sammy J and Randy, voiced and puppeted by Heath McIvor.

Randy’s comedy typically revolves around making absurd claims about himself and the way he interacts with people, often embellishing these accounts to fit the narrative. Randy often fabricates stories regarding his sexual history or relationships with other performers – in other words, making up tales about them! In addition to being an amazing comedian, Randy Feltface is also an accomplished actor and musician.

These two have produced various music videos and short films together, many of which can be found on the popular comedy site Funny or Die.

While most of his stories revolve around Randy’s romantic misadventures, Feltopia offers him the chance to poke fun at inconsistencies and absurdities within his life. For instance, in one episode, Randy jokes about running for president in 2024 despite America’s constitution only permitting citizens to run; his logic being that some parts of his body were made here!

There are other recurring jokes in Randy’s act which address his overblown sense of self-importance, naivete and gullibility. For instance, he often makes subtle digs at how much money he earns for performances and how he could rip off other comedians more easily if only he were rich enough.
