Billy Joel & Rod Stewart to Play Cleveland Stadium Sept. 13

Cleveland concert promoters face a complex process when trying to bring large concerts into Cleveland. There are numerous factors they must take into account, including available dates, venue space and expenses associated with hosting shows as well as travel. But in order for it all to work successfully: an artist who can sell out stadiums must also be interested in Cleveland, with dates that fit with their schedules being of prime importance.

Billy Joel and Rod Stewart made headlines this week with the announcement that they will co-headline a concert at Cleveland Browns Stadium on September 13th for their inaugural co-headlining concert since both are Hall of Fame artists with iconic hits internationally as singer-songwriters, both have been honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; Joel in 1999 solo artist status, Stewart as part of The Faces in 1994.

On Thursday, Mayor Justin Bibb, Destination Cleveland CEO David Gilbert and Live Nation SVP of Marketing and Sponsorship Sales Barry Gabel met at a press conference to announce the concert, with tickets going on sale to the general public for sale starting February 2.

Though both musicians will perform, fans can anticipate an emphasis on Joel’s classics at this concert. Joel is one of the biggest-selling solo artists ever, having sold over 160 million albums and singles in the US alone; six-time Grammy winners (including receiving an honorary Lifetime Achievement Award from Grammy) as well as having held monthly residencies at Madison Square Garden since 2014.

Rod Stewart has enjoyed an illustrious career that includes ten Top 10 albums in the UK and 16 Top 20 singles. He has received many of the music industry’s highest honours, such as being named New York Times bestselling author, ASCAP Founders Award for Songwriting, Grammy Living Legend status and two-time induction into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – in 2021 he was honored to receive knighthood by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace.

Recently he has toured with Elton John, KISS and Genesis; last year he performed at Ohio Stadium with Stevie Nicks. Additionally he will perform at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on February 24, Petco Park in San Diego on April 13, Busch Stadium in St Louis on September 27 and Alamodome in Denver on October 25 – not to mention touring his own band, The Ronnie Wood Experience this summer; tickets for their show in Cleveland go on sale February 2.

John Mellencamp: Outlaw Music Festival 2024

Outlaw Music Festival

Outlaw Music Festival debuted as a one-off event in Scranton in 2016 but has since grown into a touring festival that honors an American icon. The 2024 tour launches June 21 at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, Georgia before making stops across New York City and Pennsylvania before ending with John Mellencamp replacing Robert Plant and Alison Krauss for concerts at Holmdel, NJ; Bethel Woods Center for the Arts; Burgettstown; Holmdel NJ; Bethel Woods Center for the Arts as well as support from The Avett Brothers; Nathaniel Rateliff and Night Sweats; Flatland Cavalry; Flatland Cavalry; Celisse complete this tour’s lineup.

Even in the wake of an outbreak that kept Outlaw Music Festival performers away, its 2024 iteration proves it can withstand time. Blackbird Presents and Live Nation Concerts will bring this iconic roster of performers from Blackbird Presents through September, taking their show across America.

Riverbend Music Center was an ideal venue to host this show, situated along the Ohio River where Ohio and Kentucky come together. The lineup’s range of genres, generations, and geographies mirrored how this body of water serves as a symbol for uniting society through our different factions.

Mellencamp opened his show with an electrifying set that included his recent single, “Sick of It All”. This song featuring Kris Kristofferson as vocalist offers an indictment against modern society where individuals focus so heavily on maintaining themselves that they forget what it means to be human. As Mellencamp sang his message that, “we must put an end to all this noise / It can be hard being humble when you’re under the spotlight”, his audience responded with enthusiastic applause as Mellencamp sang those lines:

After Mellencamp had wrapped his set, the stage was cleared for Nelson to take the stage and to join Mellencamp’s show. Nelson walked into the center of the audience and began singing while taking in all that surrounded him – an unforgettable moment that set the scene for an incredible evening filled with musical magic and inspiring messages.

At the show’s conclusion, everyone was smiling broadly from start to finish! Classic and new songs alike were played, bringing joyous singing from all attendees who joined in singing along and dancing through the night.

An unforgettable highlight of the evening came when Nelson took to a chair and began to perform “Whiskey River.” To their delight, applause echoed through the theater as this legendary singer performed it for only the second time ever – to which all attendees applauded and applauded! His performance brought an extraordinary night full of wonderful memories; its last chorus being met with an enthusiastic roar of approval by everyone attending! A memory that will long remain.

Jake Paul Vs Mike Tyson on Netflix

Social media star Paul will face off with former heavyweight champion Tyson in a professional boxing fight that is sure to create widespread excitement. Netflix recently expanded their sports offerings, adding golf and tennis events, while simultaneously becoming the world’s leading live streamer of major sporting events; Paul-Tyson will be available to all subscribers of their video-streaming platform.

Paul first gained prominence through early internet influencer roles on Vine and later YouTube before turning pro in 2020 with a 9-1 record featuring six knockouts. Additionally, Paul has made waves as an action and comedy film actor. While Tyson held onto his heavyweight championship through two unsuccessful titles bids before retiring after going 50-6 with two no-contest bouts; since their exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr in November 2021 he has not returned to the ring.

At AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Although details for the fight have yet to be finalized, Paul’s business partner Nakisa Bidarian has confirmed that no headgear will be worn; negotiations are currently taking place to make this an official, professional sanctioned fight.

Regulated sportsbooks have yet to release odds for this fight, however Bovada, an offshore, unregulated betting site which does not operate within the US legal framework, posted initial odds that favor Paul at -500 with Tyson following at +325.

Tyson released a statement regarding their fight, in which he expressed enthusiasm to give Jake some of what’s coming his way and promised that, should it prove difficult, “if he is unable to handle it inside of the ring, he will be shown the door!”

While some have dismissed Paul’s matchup with Woodley as unfair, former opponent Tyron Woodley remains hopeful about its outcome and believes Paul can win the bout. Woodley told The New York Post he thinks Paul can win by taking steps such as using more punches during their encounter in December 2023 and also through physical strength alone.

Tyson and Paul each enjoy huge social followings, which could result in millions of viewers watching the bout – possibly making it one of the biggest draws ever in sports since Mayweather and Pacquiao managed 4.6 million PPV buys for their 2015 match-up.

Paul, who has struggled to improve his image over time, hopes that winning this fight and improving his public perception would be a significant step in the right direction. He hopes he does so before Tyson becomes vulnerable in Rounds 2-3 so as not to lose face, and be considered a victor in most fans’ eyes if that happens. If that occurs he should win back many haters but that is OK too – success should always come at its own price!

The Origin and Nature of Music

Music permeates every aspect of human society. From psychotherapy, geriatrics, and advertising to psychotherapy sessions for dementia sufferers and advertisements aimed at young children, it echoes emotions while acting as an influence. Music’s versatile nature lends itself well to song, opera and dance forms alike; since 40,000-year-old bone flutes were discovered scientists and philosophers have attempted to understand its source and nature and its role.

Many theories of music attempt to provide a comprehensive explanation of its key attributes and characteristics, from acoustical considerations to Plato’s philosophical school’s view that music embodies a higher truth.

Key to the development of music lies its interaction with human bodies, which react to musical instruments and vocalisations in ways that affect mood, emotional state, intellectual processes and cognitive processes. It is one reason why music can serve as such an effective form of self-expression.

Music can also help people connect with one another and elicit emotional responses from them, which is crucial in building relationships and strengthening communities. A mother singing to her baby or men dancing together before hunting or combat are just two examples. Music has even been used during lockdowns related to COVID-19 pandemic outbreaks to provide relief from feelings of anxiety or isolation.

Early music probably took shape as percussion instruments like hollow logs and stones; it is speculated that humans used their voices instead as an early form of instrumentation. Storyteller-composers likely used musical composition to elicit emotions in listeners; later romantic artists like Beethoven, Chopin, and Brahms expanded upon classical composition by adding complexity to compositions while exploring emotional depths within themselves.

Neuroscientists and psychologists have revealed that listening to music stimulates the brain, improves mental health and can reduce stress levels. Music may also aid rehabilitation after injury or surgery and enhance learning both for children and adults alike. Researchers even suggest it could possibly even boost memory or delay age-related cognitive decline.

Every musician strives for artistic perfection through music – whether that means the rhythmic beats of pop songs or orchestral pieces – in order to express emotion through their work and communicate feelings to an audience. Music’s universal appeal makes it a key part of our shared cultural heritage; historically it has marked important milestones like monarchies being inaugurated or exhibition openings, lending it power as a force of social cohesion while contributing to global peace through collective aspirations for world peace.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Red Rocks is one of the world’s most remarkable venues, boasting geological formation and musical history to make this National Historic Landmark an absolute must-see destination. Even those not regularly attending concerts often remember fondly their first show held here at this iconic venue.

Natural amphitheater, it is one of a kind in the US and has hosted legendary performances ranging from U2 and the Grateful Dead to Jimi Hendrix and Jimi Hendrix himself. A destination for music fans seeking inspiration or to honor great artists alike.

Its acoustics are so immersive, it feels as if the band were performing right in your living room – making being there an unforgettable experience.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre stands out with its exceptional acoustics and scenic surroundings, making it a must-see attraction for visitors to Colorado or Denver metro area. Concert schedule at Red Rocks Amphitheatre range from early spring through late fall with various genres represented ranging from musical genres. Additionally, popular “Film on the Rocks” screenings take place regularly as well as annual Easter sunrise services at this site.

Early years saw the amphitheater serve as a casual spot for performances by local bands and artists on a temporary stage. But it wasn’t until 1936, when Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) began work on building its permanent stage with support from workers at Works Progress Administration that music became an everyday presence at this location.

Since its opening, the amphitheater has become one of the world’s premier performance locations, boasting legendary acoustics, scenic beauty and rich history that create an ideal environment for musical performances by internationally-acclaimed acts.

The amphitheater seats up to 12,000 guests on bleacher-style seating with no obstructions in view, providing unobstructed views for everyone in attendance. Tickets are available via TicketCity for both reserved and general admission seating options.

Though many visitors come for concerts at this National Historic Landmark and recreation park, there’s so much more to experience at this National Historic Landmark and recreation park. From hiking, biking and picnicking to stunning views from Denver‘s high-rise buildings and Front Range countryside and fossils from the Jurassic Period – visitors are in for an incredible outdoor adventure here!

If you are attending a concert at an amphitheater, be sure to pack a cooler full of beverages and food, but remember to leave glass containers behind. While there are vendors inside the venue offering food products, their costs and crowding levels may make them prohibitive for some attendees. Hydrate frequently as being 6,500 feet above sea level means drinking lots of water can keep you feeling refreshed and hydrated throughout the show. Uber/carpool with friends as parking may be limited and exiting could take quite some time before getting back home.

Los Temerarios Breakup

Los Temerarios are more than just a band; they offer an experience. With captivating performances and timeless music that has won them an army of fans worldwide, Los Temerarios’ appeal continues to build as fans eagerly anticipate news about new music releases, tour schedules and exclusive behind-the-scenes content from them.

Gustavo and Adolfo Angel, brothers who had performed together for more than 45 years as part of an iconic Mexican romantic music group, sent out shockwaves across fan bases and music industry alike with their announcement of separation via social media posts explaining their decision.

Los Temerario are one of the premier Latin music bands, best-known for their emotive romantic ballads and orchestral arrangements. Combining traditional instruments with contemporary synthesizers to produce their signature sound. Established in Fresnillo, Zacatecas Mexico in 1977.

Even though the group disbanded in the early ’90s, their legacy still lives on through classic songs such as La Mujer que Sone and Una Lastima No Basta which remain beloved classics today. Additionally, many iconic musicians from this band appeared in movies and TV shows like El Secreto de la Bruja as actors or musicians.

They have won multiple awards and nominations and sold more than 45 million albums, earning a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame and being inducted into the Museum of Contemporary Mexican Art’s Hall of Fame. Additionally, Marc Anthony Foundation and Orange Laces Scholarship support various causes through which they dedicate time and efforts philanthropically.

Last release was a live album recorded at Mexico City‘s Palacio de Bellas Artes and featuring their biggest hits – it was met with great acclaim both from fans and critics alike. “Como Te Recuerdo”, for instance, shows their talent for writing emotive ballads with its combination of acoustic guitars, strings and an emotional tenor solo that addresses loss of love as well as pain associated with its loss.

Los Temerarios’ music consists of two styles, baladas and rancheras. Baladas feature women singing melodies with meaningful lyrics while rancheras feature men with dramatic, masculine themes. Grupo, in its early years, consisted primarily of sexualized pop melodies. Today however, its genre has expanded significantly and incorporates various sounds and styles; most popular groups produce songs which appeal to both young people and adults.

ENHYPEN’s DARK BLOOD Album Review

After winning one of seven spots on Mnet survival show I-Land 2020, ENHYPEN members began spreading their message and pushing K-pop forward. Since they first debuted with their Manifesto: Day 1 EP back in October 2019, ENHYPEN have made great strides to accomplish their mission – earning South Korea’s ninth biggest-selling album for 2021 and numerous TV appearances; though they remain grateful for any accolades bestowed upon them so far, but are committed to taking things even further.

DARK BLOOD marks ENHYPEN’s return to vampiric themes present in their debut, featuring an anthemic dark power anthem and an overarching tale of transformation and power – but now with greater confidence in their vision.

JUNGWON, HEESEUNG, JAY, NI-KI, SUNG-HOON and SUNOO form the inaugural septet signed under belift Lab–a joint venture between HYBE and CJ E&M. Although each boy hails from different backgrounds and personalities, their disparate experiences come together well to form one strong team.

As some K-pop groups can fall prey to being too polished and artificial, ENHYPEN’s preppy melodies and infectious beats exude an organic quality that feels more genuine. Their music also speaks volumes of ENHYPEN being a fun group who likes letting loose and having an enjoyable experience; their music truly encapsulates this.

The new album opens with “Fate,” an atmospheric spoken-word intro similar to those on their other albums. While solid, this version seems underutilized since most of it doesn’t allow for singing from any of the guys involved. Next comes “Blessed-Cursed,” a dark rock track which explores an all-too-common reality: fame and reaching your goals may not always deliver what was promised.

ENHYPEN also covers a One Direction classic on “What Makes You Beautiful”, trading off vocals to highlight each member’s individual sound and creating a pop-influenced track that sounds as if it could have been written just for them.

As soon as you listen to this EP, it becomes evident that all seven band members are talented musicians. Sunghoon can rap with some of the top artists, while Jay stands out with her beautiful voice–especially in choruses. In addition, Sunoo’s piano skills showcase how versatile their group truly is–they can turn nearly any genre into something catchy and appealing; we can’t wait to see what comes next from these guys.

The Savannah Bananas and the Las Vegas Y’alls Go Head-To-Head at Las Vegas Ballpark

An hour and a half prior to opening of Las Vegas Ballpark for a Savannah Bananas game against the Savannah Party Animals, fans were lined up outside. Jon and Braden Akin were among them and ready to wait out in the rain in order to secure themselves seats for this fixture.

Since Jesse Cole launched the Bananas two years ago, their exhibition baseball team has quickly taken off. Playing “Banana Ball,” their fan-focused, entertainment-heavy brand of baseball draws crowds while adding new twists into an ancient sport like baseball. Home games for Grayson Stadium’s Bananas can be found in Savannah but this year they embarked on a 33-city, 22-state world tour which sold out stadiums along the way!

When the team arrives in a city, it brings with them 2,000 banana suits for fans to wear during games – leading many to line up outside of stadium before gates open to claim their costumes and receive free food and gear from them as a thank-you for being early.

The Bananas also employ some unique rules when playing their baseball games, such as an unusual scoring system that rewards teams with points for innings won instead of just runs scored and no walks being permitted. Cole says former MLB players often contact him about making guest appearances and performing routines during breaks between innings for entertainment purposes – something Cole describes as the Banana Nanas who provide performances during break between innings!

As part of his routine, Bananas pitcher Dakota Albritton stands on stilts for most games he pitches or bats while wearing them – to the delight of fans everywhere! Dakota earns some of the greatest crowd responses during each time at bat or pitching!

Though initially unfamiliar with playing baseball in its purist sense, Y’alls quickly adjust to Bananas’ quirky atmosphere and take note of early highlights, such as one Bananas player catching a foul ball in the stands with their back turned; or one Party Animals shortstop fielding a groundball by placing both hands behind his head before throwing out a runner at first base.

But for fans of both Bananas and Party Animals alike, what really stands out is improvisation and energy; this was evident when one of Bananas players, nicknamed Drew by fans, caught a foul ball in the outfield on his knees before flipping it back towards the crowd to record an out. As soon as this occurred, excitement ran high across the field – as did an ovation for this stunning feat of athleticism – truly capturing that nostalgic feeling from childhood when baseball wasn’t so focused on balls versus strikes, pitch counts or wins and losses but rather simply about fun and athleticism!

Monster Jam is Loud, Fast, and Fun for the Whole Family

Shows feature world-renowned driver athletes and iconic monster trucks, giving viewers the opportunity to see them compete head-to-head racing competitions as well as other performances not related to racing.

Fans score drivers on jumps and flips they complete in their vehicles, including axle breaking and fiberglass body shredding, which thrill both young people and old alike.

What is a Monster Jam?

Monster Jam features professional drivers navigating 12,000-pound monster trucks through speed and skill-based competitions held in stadiums and arenas nationwide.

Drivers often express themselves through their trucks. Brianna Mahon drives Whiplash, an eye-catching bright aqua Western-themed truck. Before her Monster Jam career started, Brianna had extensive motocross racing experience as well as being known for her aggressive driving style and high-flying stunts.

Fans have an opportunity to vote on their favorite trucks during freestyle competitions. Each vehicle on the event floor has two minutes to put on an entertaining show featuring jumps, tricks and flips that leave viewers completely mesmerized – fiberglass bodies often getting shed while axles break under pressure and even flames sometimes breaking out!

Monster Jam’s lineup of competitions extends far beyond head-to-head racing. While freestyle remains its signature event, there are also two-wheel skills and motocross events to enjoy. Monster Jam competitive season kicks off every January and culminates with World Finals every May; exhibition shows continue into summer and fall for exhibition shows.

What is the show like?

Monster Jam shows are loud, fast-paced, and enjoyable experiences for the entire family. There is an overwhelming sense of pride and teamwork among fans who come together to cheer for their favorite drivers, while adult spectators find the turbo-charged engines and crushing sounds of giant metal trucks thrilling and invigorating; children sit comfortably enjoying sticky blue cotton candy and heavy breading chicken nuggets drizzled in ketchup from their seats.

Freestyle events feature drivers performing stunts and tricks such as backflips and two-wheeled skills challenges in order to wow the audience and earn points towards placing in an event. As in any subculture, Monster Jam fans have their own language; one term being cyclone which refers to high speed donuts while an endo is defined as an unexpected front-end rollover crash.

Shows are unscripted, meaning each event can be completely unpredictable and unique. On rare occasions, debris such as dirt or cars may fly into spectator stands during competition and cause injury.

What are the trucks like?

Monster Jam’s Monster Truck Racing features truck racing, speedster racing and group ATV racing; however, its freestyle event allows drivers to truly show their talents. Cyclones (high-speed doughnuts) or riding the wave – jumping up and down while precariously standing on front tires – earn drivers high scores in this event.

Like any subculture, motorcross has its own language: pago refers to doing wheelies with rear tires on and bouncing forward; an endo is defined as an unexpected front-end rollover which crashes; there are many safety measures in place like braided steel cables tethering each tire to its axle for example.

Monster truck drivers are professional athletes. Krysten Anderson, the first female driver who operates Grave Digger, must tame its 1,500 horsepower engines. These machines can produce loud noise that even children attending my show needed foam plugs to protect their ears from, but kids adore these exciting sounds that pump adrenaline!

What is the fan base like?

Monster Jam draws a wide audience, including children. No matter their age, fans remain passionate about this event and its competitors.

Since 1993, freestyle has become the centerpiece of events. First introduced as an option after losing early rounds of racing, freestyle allows drivers to display their driving talent after early round losses.

Over the history of USHRA and Monster Jam events, there have been rare instances when something from a truck or crush car accidentally struck spectators during freestyle competition. While most often this has caused minor inconvenience for spectators in attendance, on one occasion this caused serious injury when part of Natural High vehicle struck and struck an innocent small child in the head, ultimately killing him.

Feld Entertainment has made changes to Gunslinger over time in order to make it more family-friendly, such as its redesign in 2017 to remove images of guns on his body following 49 deaths at Pulse nightclub and five years since 20 children and six staff were shot at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut.

Garth Brooks: The Road I’m On

Brooks fundamentally transformed country music and what it meant to be a country artist when he launched his career in the early ’90s. From his internationally successful world tours and number one albums to changing attitudes about country music worldwide, his impact can still be felt today. This two-night special features in-depth conversations between Brooks and those closest to him such as Sandy his first wife; daughter Taylor; August and Allie his sons as well as his manager, fellow musicians and other influential people who helped shape his story.

Garth Brooks: The Road I’m On is produced by Endeavor Content’s Non-Scripted Division and Film 45 for A&E Network, under Michael Antinoro as executive producer and Matthew Goldberg and Will Staeger as co-executive producers for A&E.

This special chronicles the life and music of Brooks from his birth in Oklahoma through to his current prominence and significance in popular culture. Utilizing archive footage and new interviews with Brooks himself, this profile explores his complex personal life as well as what led to his success musically.

This program follows Brooks as he builds his musical career from humble beginnings, performing in bars and dives on the side. When his self-titled debut album by Capitol Records was released in April 1989, it quickly became both critically and commercially successful with hit songs such as “If Tomorrow Never Comes” and “The Dance.” By its time of release it had already earned platinum certification – eventually garnering him two ACM Awards (Song and Record of the Year respectively) as well as one Grammy Award (Best Country Album).

Brooks family was expanding, and he began spending more and more time with his children, eventually leading him to make the decision in 2000 to retire from music and focus on raising Taylor Mayne, August Anna and Allie Colleen – three daughters that would go on to form Scarecrow, his final studio album before becoming full-time fathers for over 10 years.

Brooks was an active supporter of numerous charities during his absence, most notably Teammates for Kids – which recruits professional athletes to donate money directly to organizations in their communities – as well as remaining actively involved with his co-founding of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society back in 1999.

In 2014, Brooks made headlines when he announced he was coming out of retirement and would release a new album and tour. Since then he has performed at arenas, theaters and stadiums – for the first time ever!

Time Traveler will hit US audiences across the United States in November 2019. Comprised of both a full-length concert film that will debut later in 2019, and additional material and previously unreleased tracks, Brooks was inspired to embark on this project by current country political climate and to keep telling country tales that are relevant in today’s modern age.
